Knockhill Hot Hatch Day 12-10-03

Allan (aka ap_coupe) had said to me the night before that one of his work colleagues had asked him to go up to knockhill the next day as he was taking up his track car and that he would take him out for a few laps round the track, so we took a trip up to see what the hampden roar was with these “Hot Hatch Day’s” since we hadn’t been to one before. The weather was pretty poor cold and damp although for a car that’s perfect conditions. On arriving we made our way to the pit to see if we could see Allan’s mate but all we saw was an silver & blue fiesta on the back of a lorry wrecked. Turn’s out that was his mate he had rolled the car at 110mph at the end of the front straight, had we been about 15mins earlier Allan could have been in the car that had no roll cage. The driver escaped with minor injures cuts and bruise’s only. The rest of the day was ok as you can see from the photo’s.
